Audioship accepts common audio files and can extract the first audio track from MP4, M4V, or MOV video. The original video is ignored. Free uploads are limited to 500 MB per file, and paid plans support files up to 10 GB per file. The upload picker allows browser-recognized audio files plus these extensions:
- AAC
- AIF and AIFF
- AMR
- FLAC
- M4A and MKA
- MP3
- MP4, M4V, and MOV video with an audio track
- OGA, OGG, and OPUS
- WAV
- WMA
If a file is rejected
- Make sure the file is not empty.
- Keep the file at or under 500 MB on Free, or 10 GB on a paid plan.
- For MP4, M4V, or MOV, make sure the video contains an audio track.
- Try exporting the audio as MP3, WAV, or M4A from your audio editor.
- If the upload starts but fails, check your connection and try again.
