California Privacy Notice
This California Privacy Notice supplements Audioship's Privacy Policy and applies to California residents. It describes our practices under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA"). Terms defined by the CCPA have the same meaning in this notice.
Personal Information We Collect
The table describes the categories of personal information we have collected during the preceding twelve months. The examples are illustrative; we do not necessarily collect every example listed for a category.
Swipe or scroll horizontally to view every table column.

|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email address, Audioship account identifier, Google or YouTube account identifiers, IP address, device or browser identifiers, and support-contact details. | Yes | From you, Google authentication, service providers, and your browser; used to provide accounts, connect YouTube, secure the service, provide support, and measure service and advertising performance where permitted. |
| California customer-record information | Name and contact information. Payment-card details are collected and processed by Stripe rather than stored by Audioship. | Yes | From you and service providers; used for account administration, support, billing, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. |
| Commercial information | Plan selections, subscriptions, purchases, invoices, refunds, and use of paid features. | Yes | From you and Stripe; used to provide subscriptions, process and reconcile billing, measure conversions, prevent fraud, and maintain business records. |
| Internet or other electronic network activity | Pages and features used, upload and checkout events, referrer and campaign information, consent choices, browser type, operating system, and interactions with our Website or advertising. | Yes | Automatically from your browser and from measurement providers; used to operate, secure, debug, improve, and measure Audioship. Analytics and advertising measurement follow your Privacy choices and applicable regional defaults. |

| Inferences | Limited service, fraud-prevention, and aggregate product or advertising-performance inferences. We do not create profiles for personalized advertising. | Yes | Derived from the categories above; used to secure, operate, improve, and measure the service. |
| Protected classifications, biometric information, professional or employment information, and non-public education information | Audioship does not intentionally request these categories for its ordinary service. | No, unless included by you in uploaded content or support communications | If you voluntarily provide such information, we process it only to provide the requested service or support and as otherwise required by law. |
Sensitive Personal Information
Account credentials or authorization tokens, payment-account information handled by Stripe, and the contents of communications or files you choose to provide may qualify as sensitive personal information. We use and disclose sensitive personal information only as reasonably necessary to provide and secure Audioship, process payments, comply with law, and perform other purposes permitted without a right to limit under the CCPA. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Retention
We retain each category only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. The applicable period depends on factors such as whether your account or subscription is active, whether content is still being processed, security and fraud-prevention needs, support history, legal and accounting obligations, dispute resolution, and your deletion request. We delete or deidentify information when it is no longer reasonably necessary, subject to lawful exceptions.
How We Use Personal Information
- Provide, maintain, personalize, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Audioship.
- Create videos from your content and publish them to the YouTube channels you select.
- Authenticate accounts and maintain Google and YouTube connections.
- Process subscriptions, purchases, invoices, refunds, and related customer support.
- Detect abuse, fraud, security incidents, and violations of our terms.
- Understand product usage and measure whether advertising results in subscriptions, subject to your Privacy choices and applicable law.
- Comply with law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims.
- Evaluate a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of our business.
We will provide notice before using personal information for a materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purpose.
Disclosures for Business Purposes
We disclose personal information to service providers and contractors only for specified business purposes. Depending on the service you use, these recipients may include cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, Google and YouTube, Stripe, customer-support and communications providers, professional advisers, and analytics or advertising-measurement providers. The disclosed categories may include identifiers, customer-record information, commercial information, internet activity, approximate geolocation, uploaded content, and limited inferences.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction. Our contracts require service providers and contractors to use personal information only for the specified services and applicable legal purposes.
Sale and Sharing
Audioship does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not serve third-party display advertisements or enable personalized advertising. Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement may process identifiers, campaign information, consent signals, Website events, and purchase-conversion information as described in our Privacy Policy. This measurement is controlled through the Privacy choices control and Global Privacy Control.
If our practices change, we will update this notice and provide any required method to opt out before selling or sharing personal information.
Your California Rights
Subject to verification and legal exceptions, California residents have the following rights:
- Know and access: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected, the sources, purposes, and categories of recipients.
- Delete: request deletion of personal information we collected from you.
- Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Data portability: receive eligible information in a portable and, where technically feasible, readily usable format.
- Opt out of sale or sharing: direct a business not to sell or share personal information. Audioship does neither, and we honor Global Privacy Control as a request to disable non-essential measurement and advertising user data.
- Limit sensitive-information use: direct a business to limit uses of sensitive personal information outside permitted purposes. Audioship uses sensitive personal information only for permitted purposes described above.
- Non-discrimination: receive equal service and pricing when you exercise your privacy rights, subject to CCPA-permitted programs.
Exercising Your Rights
Submit a request to know, access, delete, correct, or obtain portable information using either method:
- Email support@audioship.io.
- Visit audioship.io/support.
Describe the right you want to exercise and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant account or records. We may verify your identity using your email address, signed-in account, or information about your use of Audioship. We use verification information only to process the request. You may use an authorized agent; we may request proof of authorization and direct identity confirmation where permitted.
You can change analytics and advertising measurement at any time through the Privacy choices control available on every page. A supported Global Privacy Control signal is processed automatically.
Response Timing
We will confirm receipt of a verifiable request within ten business days and generally respond within forty-five days. If reasonably necessary, we may extend the response period by an additional forty-five days after notifying you. We do not charge a fee unless a request is manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive.
Non-Discrimination
We will not deny services, charge a different price, provide a different quality of service, or retaliate because you exercised a CCPA right. We do not currently offer a financial-incentive program related to personal information.
